Volunteering - Large Format Item Cataloguers (x4)

Role description - four volunteers required to assist with cataloguing of National Railway Museum's large format documents. Some railway knowledge required. Large format documents include maps, diagrams, general arrangement drawings, track plans etc. Training will be provided. Role will involve accurately identifying different types of documents and the pertinent information, taking high quality photographs with the NRM's camera, recording all the necessary details, and wrapping the items according to the NRM's storage standards. This is a job that requires two people at a time, so must be a good team player.

Location: National Railway Museum, 76 Lipson Street, Port Adelaide

Position is compliant for Centrelink commitment

Days & times: Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays - 8am to 5pm

National Police Check - NRM can arrange free of charge.

Working With Children Check - NRM can arrange free of charge.

Declaration of existing medical conditions is requested.

Public transport - Close access by bus & rail.

Street parking, and car park next to Museum but not owned by Museum - cannot guarantee spots. All day parking, 4 hour and 2 hour parking available in this park.
