Volunteering - Cafe Car Coordinator

Role description - Individual required for handling the Museum's Cafe Car bookings on weekends including instructing hirers in proper use of the carriage, cleaning the carriage afterwards, and reporting any damage. Cleaning includes wiping down tables and benches, sweeping and mopping floors.

Location: National Railway Museum, 76 Lipson Street, Port Adelaide

Requirements: Person must be able to perform duties with a minimum of supervision. Self motivation and an interest in interacting with people and in cleaning the carriage afterwards.

Position is compliant for Centrelink commitment

Days & times: Weekends only 9am to 4:30pm.

National Police Check - NRM can arrange free of charge.

Working With Children Check - NRM can arrange free of charge.

Declaration of existing medical conditions is requested.

Public transport - Close access by bus & rail.

Street parking, and car park next to Museum but not owned by Museum - cannot guarantee spots. All day parking, 4 hour and 2 hour parking available in this park.
