Role description - Experience in railway work health and safety management preferred. Role involves the following:
- The person have experience in being a WHS Officer or equivalent experience in that role.
- Needs to be computer literate so they can manage data bases etc. on the network. This includes using Word, Excel etc.
- Update and replace WHS signs on items where necessary.
- Update and replace MSDS information where necessary.
- Maintain data bases such as Corrective Action, Risk Registers etc.
- Document submissions to the Board to note new risks and risk score changes.
- Assessment, documentation and management of risks.
- Preparing risk analysis documents for up-coming events.
- Monitoring of incident and injury reports, e-filing of emails and reports to the Board and preparing Bi-monthly reports to the Board.
- Safety labelling under the Global Health Warning System.
- Maintenance of hazardous substances register and Safety Data System.
- Preparation and maintenance of SOP, workshop notices (5 year reviews).
- Development of safety plans/ procedures. Asbestos management, lead risk work, confined spaces.
- Scanning and filing of machinery / maintenance manuals.
- Other WHS related duties when necessary.
Location: National Railway Museum, 76 Lipson Street, Port Adelaide

Days & times: Weekdays - by negotiation Flexible 8am to 5pm with a minimum of four hours weekly - No evenings. Weekends negotiable.
